Tbilisi – city tour:

Sameba –The Cathedral of XX c

Metekhi - The church of XIII c. located on the bank of the river Mtkvari in the old city;

Abanotubani (Baths` district) - The Asian-type coloring baths built on the hot sulfur springs and Thone – Georgian bakery;

Walk along Chardin Street, visit enamel gallery and caravansary;

Sioni – The former Cathedral of VI-XIII cc. with the wall painting of XIX-XX cc;

Anchiskhati - The ancient basilica of the VI c. in the old city;

The State museum of Fine Art;

Lunch

Then explore Open Air Museum of Ethnography;

Overnight in Tbilisi

Drive to Kakheti region.

Sighnaghi – can be called as a pearl of Kakheti, it has unique architecture and charming environment; “City of Love”

Visit David-Gareja - one of the grand cave-monastery complexes of the world (VI c.);

Church of all holiness of Gurjaani - the only two-domed church in Georgia (VIII c.);

Ikalto - the church-chapels of VI-XIII cc. and the greatest Academy of X-XIII cc;

Alaverdi - the loftiest church in Georgia (XI);

Old and New Shuamta - The Architecturally completely different two monastery complexes (V-XVI cc.);                                          

Lunch

After lunch visit Tsinandali - Prince Al. Chavchavadze`s residence with unique wine collection and the beautiful English park located in the village well-known for its vine species, and wine tasting.

Overnight in Kakheti – Telavi

Drive to Shida (Inner) Kartli;

Visit the ancient town-museum - Mtskheta:

Jvari - the unique paragon of Architecture and landscape mixture – the church of VI-VII cc;       

Svetitskhoveli - the greatest church in Georgia and the unique masterpiece of Architectural art;

Samtavro - St. Niño’s chapel of IV c. and the ancient nunnery;

Lunch

After lunch proceed to Shida (Inner) Kartli – Gori.

Uplistsikhe - the Pagan and Medieval town carved in the volcanic rock;

Stalin’s museum.

Drive to Imereti region

Overnight in Imereti - Kutaisi

Visit Bagrati - (X-XI cc.);

Gelati - the greatest monastery cathedral of Georgian culture “Golden Age” (XII c.);

Explore “Prometheus Cave” is one of the richest caves of Europe. It is characterised by the variety of underground rivers and beautiful landscapes. Walking route for tourists is 1060 m. near the main entrance about 60 meters long there is a lake. The cave itself is very breathtaking with its 16 specious architectural halls and each one is distinct by scales and unsurpassed shape. Prometheus cave is one of the richest with it’s with its space, variety and underground rivers and landscape.

Arrival in Tbilisi, en route visit Ubisa - the basilica of XII c. with the wall painting of XIV c. Overnight in Tbilisi.
