Arrival in Tbilisi:

Meeting at airport.

Volcanic Canyons.

Samshvilde- Tsalka- Trialeti- Berta

Travel to Samshvilde (travel time 1 hour) Here we visit natural monument of Samshvilde canyon and old city site. Fossilized volcanic lavas of the canyon formed by river Ktsia is very impressive. Old settlement of Samshvilde represents medieval monument, including a lot of archaeological and architectural monuments (Time needed 2 hours).

After Samshvilde the route goes along the canyonic valley of river Khrami and with serpantine shape ways going up through Tsalka volcanic plateau. On the way we will pass through the village Trialeti established by Germans in XIX century, from where we are going toward Berta vokluzis (time for trip 2 hours, lunch in nature).

Berta vokluzi itself represents simultaneously nature and historical monument, where in cathedral basin, built on spring rising from the ground, inhabits trout to which believers associate many miracles. (Seeing time 30 min). Leaving Berta and going to Tsalka. Accomodation in hotel. Dinner.

Canyons and waterfalls

Martvili- Balda

Breakfast in hotel

Departure from Tskaltubo to Martvili (30min). Here our first stop is Gochkadili canyon.(river Abasha) Here you can stroll through canyon, dressed with Colchis rich vegetation and waterfalls ,boat riding.-1 hour.

From Gochkadili canyon trip is continuing to village Balda, hiking to Toba and Oniore waterfalls. Both waterfalls are from biggestes of its kind, both coming out from cave, creating astonishing landscape. On the way, in nature we’ll have picnic. Time- 5-6 hours.

Returning to Martvili, accommodation in guesthouse, dinner.

Wetlands

Poti - Kobuleti

Departure from Martvili heading to Poti (road- 1.5 hour)

Visiting lake Paliastomi. Riding with phantom boat on lake Paliastomi and river Pichori viewing tropical forest, wetland, great possibility for birdwatching. (3 hours) Picnic in nature.

Our trip continues to Kobuleti Protected areas (road-40min). Here we are visiting ispan phangumian wetlends . Strolling on swamp with swamp walking skis. Time -2 hours.

Accommodation in guesthouse, Kobuleti; Dinner.

Biodiversity

Departure from Kobuleti heading to Mtirala National Park. National Park stands out with its biodiversity, there are many varieties of unique plant and animal species. During tour we’ll walk through national park trails, ride on zipline, taste local ecoproducts.

Time 4-5 hours.

Returning to Kutaisi, farewell dinner , transfer to airport.
